Tanya Prabhakar

Tanya focuses her practice in litigation, serving as defense counsel in state and federal litigation. She does cases in insurance law and tort law. She represents various public entities such as townships, villages, and municipalities in litigation matters.

Tanya earned her Juris Doctorate from the John Marshall Law School. She was a legal intern at a Legal Clinic, where she focused on landlord-tenant and slander issues. She was also a Judicial Extern in the Family Law division, where she worked on issues of divorce, fraud, and child custody issues. She worked with pro se litigants there.
