K. Austin Zimmer focuses his practice on state and federal litigation representing individuals, corporations, and governmental bodies. Furthermore, Mr. Zimmer counsels private and public clients on developing practices and procedures in an effort to avoid litigation. For his governmental clients, Mr. Zimmer advises on day-to-day issues involving building violations, code enforcement, and police issues.

Mr. Zimmer is a seasoned and experienced trial attorney. Before joining Del Galdo Law Group, LLC, Mr. Zimmer was employed as an Assistant State's Attorney with the Cook County State's Attorney's Office. During his time as an Assistant State's Attorney, Mr. Zimmer gained extensive litigation experience. He conducted over 100 bench trials and several jury trials. Mr. Zimmer successfully prosecuted several DUI fatality cases and countless Class X felonies. Before leaving the State's Attorney's Office, Mr. Zimmer was assigned to the Special Prosecutions Unit, where he successfully prosecuted some of largest narcotics cases in Cook County.

At Del Galdo Law Group, LLC, Mr. Zimmer has continued his commitment to public service and is actively defending municipalities and their police officers from a variety of lawsuits. Furthermore, Mr. Zimmer routinely represents a governmental unit as a municipal prosecutor.
